Micro weddings are all the rave during this new world we are living in. Covid-19 has forced us to change the way we approach weddings. As a Tustin CA Wedding Photographer, it’s been a hard past year. Not just for myself but for all wedding photographers all over the country. I am blessed to have amazing clients however, who have been a total supoprt during this time. Having that said, even though a micro wedding was VERY popular the last year and half, Covid-19 is not why this couple chose to have a small and intimate wedding day.
Small and intimate was always what Lynette wanted for her wedding day. While we were setting up for the wedding, Lynette’s brother explained to me that a micro wedding has always been “Lynette”.
The pandemic just gave small and intiamte weddings a new name… micro weddings.
Lynette and Matt only had ten guest attend their wedding. Both their parents, and their siblings + their significant others. They were married on Matt’s parents 50th wedding anniversary. What an incredible legacy right?
They knew that they would have an intimate wedding day and that it would be in bright sun… so we met up for a bridal session a month ago and it was incredible! It allowed us to photograph their portraits at sunset and have more time to capure all the bridal portriats they ever wanted! View their dreamy and sunset portraits here.
Matt and Lynette, thank you for allowing me to be part of such a special time in your lives. Being part of your story was SO special for me! Combined, there is *almost* 100 years of marriage between your parents. What an incredible legacy! I wish the same for you two in your marriage!
XO,
Nataly
